About Trinity Services

Originally founded as a school in Joliet for children with intellectual disabilities in 1950, today Trinity Services, Inc. is a fully accredited, nonsectarian, nonprofit agency serving more than 3,500 children and adults with disabilities and mental illness in the south suburbs, Chicago area, and Central and Southern Illinois.

Trinity offers programs and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness. In addition to the school, services also include:

  • Residential services
  • Community day services
  • Vocational and employment programs
  • Horticultural therapy
  • STRIDES, a therapeutic horseback riding program.

In addition, Trinity’s behavioral health program offers intensive outpatient services, residential services, individual or group counseling, and employment services.
